At First UMC Mt. Pleasant we live into the world mission by being Authentic in our Relationships as we try to be Christ-like.
We do this with the goal To Make a Difference in Someone's Life Today.
Change a Child’s Story
Age appropriate books are purchased for children in the Mount Pleasant School District. To date over 6,000 books have been distributed. Volunteers read with students at Head Start and the elementary school. Volunteers and donations are always appreciated.
Mission Team Year Round
Throughout the year, the mission team guides the congregation in projects. Some projects include St Andrew’s potato project, Ingathering Kits, Holiday Boxes, collecting items to support the Fellowship Cup, and many many more
