First United Methodist Church (FUMC) and Iowa Wesleyan University (IWU) have had a relationship for over 180 years. FUMC believes in the importance of ministering to and with the students, staff and faculty of IWU. We consider the community of IWU as ministry partners and join together on the journey of faith as we reach out to the community of Mt. Pleasant and beyond.
As we are only separated by a short walk of two blocks, we have multiple opportunities to be in ministry together either in the setting of worship or a college concert in the FUMC sanctuary.
